Planning a destination wedding from thousands of miles away can feel like a leap of faith. With the right guidance and a team who knows the island inside out, it can also be one of the most exciting journeys you’ll ever take. And with the 2027 direct flights available from New York, this is the perfect moment to host your wedding on the magic white island Ibiza.

Over the years, we’ve planned weddings on Ibiza for couples from all over the world, including many from the United States who fell in love with the idea of getting married on the island long before they had ever set foot on it. You'll find our reviews from previous American couples here.

Some discover Ibiza through a beautiful photograph of a Mediterranean villas. Others are drawn to the island’s mix of natural beauty, understated luxury, incredible food, vibrant party scene and the feeling that a wedding here can become so much more than just one day.

Whatever brings you to Ibiza, one thing is often the same: you have a vision of what your wedding should feel like, but you may not yet know exactly where to bring that vision to life. And that’s where we come in.

Why plan your wedding on Ibiza?

There are so many reasons why couples from the United States choose Ibiza for their destination wedding. Beyond the island’s natural beauty, it offers a wonderful balance of quality, atmosphere and experiences that make a wedding here feel truly special.

Compared with many wedding destinations in the US, Europe can offer an appealing balance between budget and quality. Think exceptional Mediterranean cuisine, beautiful local produce, outstanding wines and breathtaking settings, all contributing to a celebration that feels considered and memorable.

Ibiza is also more accessible than you might imagine, with seasonal direct flights from selected US cities and convenient connections through major European hubs. This makes travelling to the island easier for you and your guests, turning your wedding into an opportunity to spend meaningful time together away from everyday life.

And then there is the island itself. From the historic streets of Dalt Vila and secluded turquoise coves to its celebrated gastronomy, vibrant nightlife and peaceful countryside, Ibiza offers a remarkable variety of experiences. Guests can explore the island at their own pace, while those wishing to extend their stay can discover the neighbouring island of Formentera, with its crystal-clear waters and relaxed beachside atmosphere, or continue their European adventure in a city such as Barcelona.

Perhaps the most beautiful part of choosing Ibiza is that you are offering your guests more than a wedding day. You are inviting them to discover a Mediterranean island, share new experiences and create memories together. What begins as a celebration of your love becomes a holiday filled with long lunches, sunset evenings, spontaneous adventures and precious moments with the people who matter most.

Getting to know Ibiza, before you get here

One of the things we love most about our work is helping couples discover an island they may never have visited before. Through years of living and working on Ibiza, we’ve come to know its different sides, from secluded countryside fincas and traditional Mediterranean estates to contemporary hotels and beautiful venues overlooking the sea.

But knowing a venue is about much more than knowing what it looks like in photographs.

It’s understanding how a space feels when you arrive, where the light falls in the late afternoon, how the evening might unfold, where guests will gather for cocktails and how a dinner setting could look once the candles are lit and the tables are dressed.

It’s also knowing the practical details that can make a real difference: the flow between spaces, accommodation options, transport logistics, sound restrictions and what is realistically possible within your budget.

When you’re planning from the US, these are the things you cannot always see from a website or an Instagram post. Having someone on the island who understands both the beauty, the practicalities and speaks the language makes all the difference.

Finding a venue that feels like you

Venue selection is often one of the first big decisions when planning an Ibiza wedding, and it can also be one of the most overwhelming. There are so many beautiful places on the island, but not every venue is right for every couple. A location that looks incredible online might not offer the atmosphere, flexibility or layout you imagined. Another, perhaps less familiar, could turn out to be exactly what you were looking for.

We start by getting to know you. How do you imagine your wedding day? Do you picture a long dinner under the stars, a relaxed celebration at a private finca, or a weekend where your guests can enjoy several different experiences together? How important are accommodation, privacy, the surrounding landscape and the overall feeling of the place?

From there, we create a carefully considered selection of venues that genuinely match your wishes.

We explain the differences between them, share our local insight and help you visualise how your celebration could unfold in each setting. We look beyond the photographs to consider the atmosphere, layout, possibilities and practicalities, so you can make an informed decision even when you are not physically here. We can even do a video walk through for you, so it will feel like you've seen it yourself. Combine that with pictures and videos from previous weddings hosted and you'll know where you sign up for. Our role is to help you understand your options and feel confident in the decision you make.

Seeing the possibilities from afar

We know that choosing a venue without visiting it yourself can feel like a big decision. After all, you are not simply booking a location; you are choosing the place where you will celebrate one of the most meaningful moments of your life. That is why we take the time to show you what we see.

During venue research, we visit locations, ask the questions you might not know to ask and gather the information needed to help you compare your options. We share photographs, videos, layouts and detailed explanations, giving you a more complete picture of what each venue offers.

We also talk through the possibilities for styling and design. A beautiful space can look very different depending on how it is used, and we help you understand how your ideas could translate into the actual setting.

Perhaps you are imagining a candlelit dinner surrounded by olive trees, a ceremony with views across the Mediterranean or a welcome party that feels relaxed and effortlessly elegant. We help you understand which locations can bring those ideas to life and where adjustments might be needed.

And if something is not quite right, we will tell you that, too. Honest advice is an important part of the relationship we build with our couples.

From the first conversation to the wedding weekend

Once you have found your venue, the next chapter begins.

Planning a wedding from the US means coordinating many moving parts across different time zones, languages and suppliers. There are decisions to make about catering, flowers, music, lighting, photography, accommodation, transportation and countless smaller details that eventually come together to create the overall experience.

Our job is to guide you through each stage, helping you understand what needs to happen, when decisions need to be made and which details deserve your attention first.

We work closely with our local suppliers, coordinate the different elements and keep everything moving forward. We talk through options, explain the practical implications of different choices and help you prioritise where to invest your budget.

Throughout the process, we want you to feel involved without feeling overwhelmed. You should be able to enjoy choosing your flowers, tasting your menu and imagining your celebration, knowing that the planning behind those moments is being carefully managed.

And because we are based on Ibiza ourselves, we can be there in person when a venue needs to be visited, a detail needs checking or a final decision needs to be made on the ground.

More than just the wedding day

For many of our American couples, an Ibiza wedding becomes a chance to bring family and friends together for several days rather than just one celebration.

A welcome dinner, a relaxed afternoon by the pool, the wedding itself and a final brunch can create a wonderful sense of togetherness, especially when guests have travelled a long way to be there.

Planning these experiences requires a slightly different perspective. We consider how the different events connect, how guests will move between locations, how much time they have to relax and how the overall weekend can feel cohesive without becoming overly structured.

The aim is never to fill every moment. It is to create a celebration that feels natural to you, with enough thoughtful detail to make your guests feel welcome and enough breathing room for everyone to enjoy being together.

A local team, a personal relationship

After years of planning weddings on Ibiza, one thing remains particularly important to us: every couple is different, and the planning process should reflect that.

We are not here to fit your wedding into a formula or recreate something we have done before. We want to understand what matters to you, what you value and what you want your guests to remember.

Being based on the island allows us to combine that personal approach with the practical knowledge that comes from working here year after year. We know the venues, we build relationships with our suppliers and we understand the details that can shape the experience of a wedding on Ibiza.

For couples planning from the United States, that local knowledge becomes an extension of your own eyes and ears. We help you make decisions with confidence, even when you cannot be here in person.

And when you finally arrive on Ibiza, perhaps for the first time, we want you to feel that the place you imagined has become something real, familiar and entirely yours.

Because while planning a wedding from afar comes with its own challenges, it should never mean feeling far away from the experience itself.
