Before our 2026 amazing wedding season kicks off, we're seeing something truly exciting in the world of wedding decoration. Couples are definitely moving beyond the predictable, searching for celebrations that don't just look amazing, but truly feel like them. It's more than ever about intentional design, sustainability, and creating unforgettable experiences for everyone involved.
At About Summer Ibiza, we've hosted a styled shoot to inspire new couples and to dare them to do something different than you might find on Pinterest from previous years. We'll guide you through the newest trends from our perspective.
Mirror tables
Move over traditional linens; 2026 is the era of the mirror table. This table adds an undeniable layer of magic and modernity to any wedding dinner. Imagine: every delicate bloom, every flickering candle, the table wear and the entire breathtaking surroundings all beautifully reflected. It creates a continuous, dynamic table of light and elegance. It's chic, unexpected, and unforgettable.

Stacked Flowers
The time when we just added flowers to a vase is over. We love to play with them and create surprising elements that elevate the table decor. During this styled shoot, multiple types of flowers were transformed into art. The stacked flower decor reflected on the mirror table was one of a kind. The advantage of stacked flowers is also that they won't take up much space on your table, so there is still enough space for sharing dinners, candles, or table lights.

The Art of Minimalism
Minimalism isn't about lack; it's about purposefulness. In 2026, we're witnessing the rise of elevated minimalism, characterized by exquisite furniture and simple floral arrangements that seamlessly integrate with their environment. This approach allows the couple and essential design elements to take center stage. It's a philosophy of less-is-more that communicates powerfully through quality, deliberate arrangement, and peaceful aesthetics, fostering an ambiance of subtle magnificence.

Earthy Luxury
Being located on the beautiful island of Ibiza offers many advantages, one of which is the diverse surroundings and stunning nature. This year, more than ever, we are embracing our environment by incorporating more elements of the island into our table decorations. We've used rustic stones, commonly found on countryside walls, paired with an oak-toned table linen and minimalist flowers to demonstrate that unconventional items can also enhance wedding tables. These elements perfectly complement the venue's rustic wall.

Bridal Lace
There's no denying that lace is a popular choice for wedding dresses, and this year, we're seeing it make a comeback in different styles. Brides can opt for tops and pants instead of traditional wedding dresses, or choose skirts with blazers, and even incorporate lace into veils. We encourage brides to express their personalities through their attire. The more personal, the better. And we absolutely love it!

Sweet and Stunning
Although wedding cakes were traditionally large, this year marks a shift. The structure, design, flavor, and the special moment they create during the wedding day continue to make wedding cakes beloved by couples. They are a statement, a sweet and stunning moment to celebrate the official union. The buttercream piped textures on these cakes will be seen a lot this year. Some couples even incorporate candles into their wedding cake to symbolize their wishes for their marriage, which we think is fantastic.
Another top favorite this year is the oversized tiramisu. This classic dessert can now be served in various sizes and personalized with custom text.

We'd love to create the most magical day(s) of your life
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels original, stylish, and unmistakably you, we’d love to help bring your vision to life here on the island. We are happy to schedule an introduction call with you to discuss your wishes. We love to hear from you.
With love,
